Nav.Net Beta 3.3

New Nav.Net release is ready to download. This update contains fixes and features for speeding up FG searches. Here are the new features.

 

1. Thumbnail queue: While FG finds a file, thumbnail downloads queued not to interrupt main search process. This feature prevents empty thumbnails in some cases.

2. Randomize Server Name: When this option enabled FG search speed increases.

3. Some bug fixes to download thumbnails correctly.

4. Some feature enchanments for creating more user friendly GUI.

Today I’ve released Beta 3.2. This release contains many improvements with fileformats and there are some fixes. I want to thank to our forum members for their suggestions and ideas. If you want to share your ideas or ask questions feel free to join us.

Here are the new features and fixes:

1. File Format Tester: This tool is used to preview or test your hand made file formats. It is useful to test your complex formats if it is working or not. You can find it at the tools submenu under the file formats list box.Read more

Nav.Net Beta 3

This is a service release that fixes many small issues. But this release have a nice feature with Cache Explorer. When you click thumbs button, Nav.Net will show video files as thumbnails. If you want to remove a video from cache just rightclick on  a thumb and select Remove From Cache. This release also is a setup file so download and execute it to install. And don’t forget to visit our forum for your questions and learn how our users use this tool to find results.

Hi; I’ve released Nav.Net second Beta today. This update contains many improvements and fixes.

1. Automatic Setup feature: This installer checks the depended modules (.net 2.0, ie6, etc) and gives an option to user to download and install them automatically. What is a File Format?

FileFormat is a file name template used by fusker generator to tell it what filenames to check. There are several formatting options. In this chapter we’ll discuss all possibilities to create formats. The basic FileFormat is the Numerical Format. It contains # sign to represent numerical digits. For example a file format like Picture#.jpg will tell fusker generator it should test all images from Picture0.jpg to Picture9.jpg. The # sign tells also the length of the numeric part. So using Picture##.jpg means a range from Picture0.jpg to Picture99.jpg.Read more

What is Fusker Generator?

Generally people uploads images directly without renaming images. Thanks to digital cameras because they saves image files named with sequential numbers like Picture10.jpg, Picture11.jpg,.. etc.  When you see an image and if you wonder there are more images like this or not it is a good idea to try upper or lower numbers. First you check the image file name (right click on image while displaying in your browser and search for image properties). If image filename is Picture15.jpg there may be more images like Picture14.jpg or Picture16.jpg. Basically this concept is known as Fuskering.Read more

Resetting Nav.Net

Posted in

Did you lost something? If you want to erase all Nav.Net settings, close Nav.Net while holding shift key. This will revert Nav.Net to first installed state. Remeber to backup your important settings because you'll lost EVERYTHING including custom fusker file formats, window positions, directory options, etc.

Multiple Keyword Search

You can search for multiple keywords by seperating them with a semicolon (;). If you type Britney Spears;Paris Hilton to search box, Nav.Net will search both of them. All keywords will be listed under Active Searches tree. Click keywords to see related search results. Click Active Searches node to see all.
